When I was in primary school, I was top of the class during English lessons. Some kids in my class couldn't even read English properly and my teacher had to patiently lead them word by word.
One day, I was asked to read aloud a passage from the text book. I mispronounced medicine as "med-e-cine". My teacher berated me severely that day. What I couldn't understand then was why she was so angry at me because of a mispronunciation but she wasn't angry when she had to help others read?
It was only in my later years when I realized that the teacher had berated me so severely because she had greater expectations of me, and that she was aware that I was better and capable of much more than those she had to guide sentence by sentence during oral lessons.
Puan Yeoh of Kelas 5A / Darjah 5 Merah of SRK Jelutong Barat 1, if you're ever reading this, my hats off to you and my apologies to you for my error and immature judgments.
To my swimmers, please remember: if your coach scolds you harder than the others, it doesn't mean he hates you, but he expects more from you because he believes you're better than what you're showing.
So swimmers, let's see your best.

Back to blogging
I can't remember how many times I've left my blog inactive. But here I am, back with more ramblings and mischief.
